You must be one of my watchers or otherwise formally invited to participate. I have the funds to put together five Pen Pal gift boxes. No more, no less. If you do not make the cut, you will be rolled over to the next game or sent return gift-art via deviantART.

To join:
Have one of my characters drawn (see list below) and send it to me via Note along with your shipping address. It's as easy as that~!

Terms and Conditions:
You must provide your name and a valid shipping address. If you do not do this then you will not get your package in the mail and you will only be eligible for receiving a thank you drawing via deviantART.

Please do not half-ass your only part in this game. While I am not requiring any set medium, character, or scene to be drawn, I do hope the art you give me will look nice and represent my characters accurately. If you need any additional information or references for a specific character, please let me know before you begin. If it helps, please consider the drawing you give to me as a rough payment for the goods and art that I am sending out in return. To the best of my abilities, gift boxes will not be based on the quality of the artwork given. However, if it is obvious that someone spent a lot of time on a piece, I will feature them in an upcoming journal.

If you are not an artist: I will consider it acceptable for you to ask a friend to provide art in your place. Please be warned however that is is your responsibility to make sure that they are compensated for their time and effort or are otherwise satisfied with drawing something-for-nothing for a stranger. A friend who draws art for you, might be given thank you art at the end of the game, however, they will be ineligible for a gift-box of their own.

Once I have enough participants I will begin drawing and writing letters and putting together the packages. I should be able to send them out within a week if all is timed well. You will be notified when your gift has been sent via Note.

This game is entirely free. You will not be asked to cover shipping or pay for anything you receive. However, if you are outside of the United States of America or where shipping would be expensive I humbly request that you please put a little something extra into the art that you do for me. Be that with the addition of another character or putting in a little more time with it.

Other than the initial drawing, which may be sent to me via Note, you are not required to send anything back to me. Now, if you'd like to send a letter or package of your own it would be very much appreciated and enjoyed, being a Pen Pal game and all. Additionally, your name and address (and/or any other information) I obtain from you will be kept confidential. I will not share, sell, or otherwise abuse your personal information. This is all in good snail-maily-goodness-fun people.


My Characters:
Below is a list of the characters I would most like to have drawn and a brief description of them. More detailed bits can be found within the Artist's Comments of the deviation pages. (Those that are pared together in their references are mostly for my convenience, you only need to draw one.) Watchers that have known me for a while should be aware that I have way more characters than this, and you are free to draw any one (or more) of them, but of these I will most likely enjoy the most.

Khelsea Flint and Julian A Gren

Khelsea is a nymph who can often be described as a smug little bastard. In actuality he's really free-spirited and kind. Just has some moods every so often. Toss it up to the faery in him. Julian is a sourpuss. That's really the core of Jules' character. Also, he's a twig. In their story (still in progress), the two hate each other and are only allies due to circumstances. In my personal head-cannon, why yes, yes I do ship my own characters. Does that make it official too? I don't know, but I like it. *cough*

Lucas Rone and Sasha Bernard
Cupcakes“No, there is no secret meaning to the Universe.”
This is the truth [lie] Lucas Rone likes the most. Humans were always sticking their noses into things, wasting time. His time. His infinite time.
There is not secret meaning to the Universe, it just is. Humans create meaning in names and to them the 'universe' was yet undefined. And until they learned to accept that this was the way things are, those stupid humans would forever be stuck searching for empty secrets.
Lucas Rone of course knew everything there was to know about everything. No 'meaning' new to him, no name foreign to his tongue. Nothing surprised him. He left it up to people to give his image the 'substance' they so craved.
Most of the time the names were as unpleasant as his character, or so they claimed. Demon. Monster. Fiend. Any world or language you could think of, more often than not he held a similar title.
And he liked those ones just fine but... Right now he preferred Lucas Rone. It had a certain ring
Lucas is...well, unpleasent... Sasha is a kitty princess who loves music, Tamagotchi's, and making sweets. Sasha is also a trap. Note, not my art on the last one there, but a far better reference than I have on my own at the moment. I'm working on it.

Richter Strall

Richter is some sort of mystery, we are not sure whether or not they are an assassin or involved in some sort of high military unit.

Nightmare

If Nightmare looks like fierce being to run away from very quickly to you then you've got her right. For the most part. When it all comes down to it, she's just doing her job, protecting her herd's territory. Basically, Nightmare is a cross between a centaur and a succubus, but in appearance only. Her color scheme is entirely up to you.

Amber Sylk

Amber is alone most of the time but she spends it actively seeking to better her own skills. She is a fan of mixed martial arts but is also proficient with a bo-staff. She also enjoys gambling. While the one reference I have for her is not colored, if you just think of Nightcrawler from X-Men but swap blue for bright orange you're probably close enough.

Enigma

She is a wild thing and some wonder if she is chaos incarnate. Half the time she's just bull-shitting her way through a given situation though. While she has toned herself down in her "old age" (she's around 30) she still keeps a wide range of magic powered orbs and sharp shiny axes at her disposal so it is wise to be on her good side. She is fond of hammer space and breaking the fourth wall and is fully aware of her present status of Eye Candy. Enigma can be really down to earth when she needs to be. She is as loyal as they come. Please note her colors in the last pictures are the ones you want, but that is no longer her appearance. In addition, she is not winged nor draconic, those attachments are merely a part of her armor and clothing respectively. She can however make her tail longer or shorter at will.

Vishen Sylveryn
Neapolitan KontenSENSORY OVERLOAD

A cold wind buffered against Vishen Sylveryn's bare skin prompting him to emerge from the unconsciousness that had claimed him in the middle of transportation. His watery grey eyes flickered open, and when he looked around, he was astonished about where he'd found himself... He sat up swiftly scanning all around him, a mouth slightly agape, a smile threateningly tugging at one corner of his mouth.

Snow! Glorious, beautiful, soft sparkling white snow...

"Beautiful..." he said softly as he admired the wintery peaks surrounding him. The sky was heavy with dark clouds busy producing even more flakes of the sparkling frozen wat
I list this character only in the hopes of getting something wonderful in return. Vishen is my favorite character and I'd love to get art of him, but I want it to be just so. Please read the stories, and if you need it, I have his full bio available as well.
